First year review: Hotels and transportation

Concerning Hotels, UCLA has contract rate with the following hotels. Please refer to [1] for information. We are asking you to make your own reservation, so you can choose the hotel that best fits you; please mention the UCLA rate. If you are interested in walking, the Palomar, W, and Guest House are all within walking distance.

Palomar: $159 UCLA Rate [2]

Hotel Angeleno: $149 UCLA Rate (right on the freeway, not walkable but has shuttle to ucla) [4]

Hotel Luxe: $189 UCLA Rate (adjacent the Angeleno, also has shuttle) [5]

To reach UCLA from LAX you can take a taxi (about $50-60) or take the Westwood Flyaway [6], a blue bus that goes directly from LAX to Parking Structure 32 on the UCLA Campus. From there, you are within a 15-minute walk to anywhere on the UCLA campus, or you can catch a campus bus. Maps are at [7].
