First year review: Hotels and transportation

Concerning Hotels, UCLA has contract rate with the following hotels. Please refer to this map for information. We are asking you to make your own reservation, so you can choose the hotel that best fits you; please mention the UCLA rate. If you are interested in walking, the Palomar, W, and Guest House are all within walking distance.

Hotel Angeleno: $149 UCLA Rate (right on the freeway, not walkable but has shuttle to ucla) [3]

To reach UCLA from LAX you can take a taxi (about $50-60) or take the Westwood Flyaway, a blue bus that goes directly from LAX to Parking Structure 32 on the UCLA Campus: [5]. From there, you are within a 15-minute walk to anywhere on the UCLA campus, or you can catch a campus bus. Maps are at [6]
