- Shiwali:
- There have been many tea events, and some movie nights
- Quentin:
- How is the CSEG account compared to this time last year?
- Armin:
- Been doing less game nights, not many people showing up.
- Proposed buying USB controllers to play video games in the grad lounge.
- Jesh:
- Grad committee: They are trying to figure out qualifying requirements for NIH/NSF funding. Courses are currently being offered, and may need to be taken by CSE students funded by NIH/NSF grants.
- Quentin:
- Grad commitee: Sill working on implementing changes to PhD course requirements.
- Allie:
- UMEC: main complaint was lack of food options for north campus. Not much can be done currently because of contracts.
- Rob:
- What about foobar?
- Jesh:
- Alex Halderman mentioned turning foobar into a taco stand. Not sure if he was serious.
- Rob:
- Table tennis tournament. Prizes shall be amazon gift cards. 25$ 15$ 10$ for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place respectively. CSEG board members can participate but are not eligible for prizes.

- Laser tag on Carpenter. Can hold 40+ people. Pricing for >=10 is 12$/person, <10 is 13$/person.
- CSEG will contribute enough to make it 5$ per person (spouses/friends not included)
- Will take place Thursday or Friday, 11/3 or 11/4
- Nate:
- Next meeting Dec. 7th
- Timur:
- Requests that the faculty and grad students be whitelisted for sending mail to CSEG mailing list
- Alternative: only for CSEG-announce
- After much discussion, conclusion was to just add moderators for now (Nate and Shiwali in addition to Rob) to reduce moderation latency.
- Jesh and Timur will consider options for improving the mailing lists (e.g., google groups, facebook group, twitter)
- Rob:
- CSEG website's officer's wiki has been having problems since a recent DCO upgrade. Temporary funcitonal situation set up for now.
